What Wonderfruit is
Wonderfruit is a five-day arts, music, and sustainability festival held each December near Pattaya, in the fields of the Siam Country Club property in Chonburi province. The 2026 edition runs from 17 to 21 December.
The festival positions itself around the intersection of music, food, wellness, and environmental awareness - a counterpoint to the standard mass music festival format. The programming spans international and Asian electronic music, live acts, art installations, wellness workshops, talks on sustainability, and a food market curated around local and organic produce. Attendees range from Bangkok weekenders and expats to international visitors flying in specifically for the event.
What to expect
Music and sound. Wonderfruit runs multiple stages across the site, from a main stage handling the largest international acts to smaller outdoor spaces for deeper electronic music, acoustic sessions, and ambient performances. The lineup has historically included artists from the European festival circuit alongside prominent Thai and Southeast Asian electronic acts. The programming runs from mid-afternoon into the early hours.
The Fields. The festival grounds are expansive and designed for slow exploration. Art installations are scattered across the site - some are interactive, others are purely visual. Previous editions have featured large-scale lighting installations, sculptural works, and collaborative pieces created on-site during the festival itself.
Wellness programme. A dedicated wellness area offers yoga classes, meditation sessions, breathwork, massage treatments, and talks with practitioners. These tend to run in the mornings and early afternoons when the music is quieter.
Food. The food market is one of the more talked-about elements of Wonderfruit. Stalls are curated rather than a random collection of vendors, with a focus on quality ingredients and an interesting proportion of plant-forward Thai and international dishes alongside meat options. Prices are higher than street food but reasonable for a curated festival market - expect to spend 150–400 THB per dish.
Tickets and planning
Single-day tickets and multi-day passes are available via the Wonderfruit website at wonderfruit.co. Festival packages sometimes include camping or glamping options on-site. The lineup is announced in stages, typically with artist reveals beginning around June–July for the December edition.
Ticket prices vary by pass type. General admission multi-day passes have historically been in the range of 4,500–7,500 THB as of recent editions. The festival sells out - particularly in the final weeks before December - so buying in advance is advisable.
Getting to Wonderfruit
The Siam Country Club is located in Chonburi province, approximately 15–20 kilometres from Pattaya. From Bangkok, Pattaya is reachable by bus from Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai) in around 2 hours, or by taxi for a higher but more direct cost. The festival typically runs shuttle services from central Pattaya to the festival grounds - details are released on the official Wonderfruit website and social media in the weeks before the event.
December in this part of Thailand is excellent: cool, dry, and clear, with daytime temperatures around 27–30°C and cool evenings. It is one of the better times of year to be outdoors in the region.
Accommodation. Pattaya has a wide range of hotels at all price points. Booking a few months in advance for the festival period is advisable. The festival’s glamping option is worth considering for those who want to avoid daily transport and stay fully immersed in the site.
